This Privacy Policy describes how Med Pantry ("the App," "we," "our") handles information when you use our application. Med Pantry helps you track the expiry dates of medicines, vitamins, and supplements, and receive expiry reminders.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy applies to all users of the Med Pantry iOS application.
Med Pantry does not collect, share, or track any personal data on our own servers.
Specifically:
No personal information is collected by us — We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
No usage analytics are collected by us — We do not collect analytics, diagnostics, crash reports, or usage statistics ourselves.
No advertising — The App contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs.
No data is sold or shared by us — We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties.
No tracking by us — Med Pantry does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Your item list (names, manufacturers, forms, dates, notes) is stored locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, this data syncs across your devices via Apple iCloud (CloudKit private database). Data in your iCloud private database is controlled by you and governed by Apple's privacy policy; we cannot access it.
The App can scan the expiry date (EXP) printed on product packaging using your camera. All text recognition runs entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Camera frames are processed in real time and are never stored, recorded, or transmitted. The App does not take or save photos.
The App uses local notifications only, scheduled on your device to remind you before products expire. No push notification service is used and no notification data leaves your device.
Optional Pro upgrades (subscriptions and a lifetime unlock) are processed entirely by Apple App Store (StoreKit). We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase status is verified on-device.
The App uses only Apple platform services (iCloud/CloudKit, StoreKit, UserNotifications, Vision). No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included.

You can delete any item at any time in the App. Deleting the App removes all local data. To delete iCloud-synced data, remove the App's data in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at the URL above.
